ABOUT
ME
AMY WHITE
I am a recent Design Graduate having studied Product Design at the University of Wolverhampton. I have a particular interest in user centred design, and have experience working with non-resistant materials and resistant materials.
I previously studied Applied Arts at degree level, meaning that I also have experience in glassblowing, casting, cold-working and throwing pottery.

I have experience working in a variety of materials such as clay, ceramic, glass, MDF, metal and plastics. My portfolio is mostly assignment based, meaning that each collection is inspired by and based around a theme, which I have interpreted and then produced a final product that reflect my own take on each theme. Furthermore, I have a high competency at using a variety of CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Adobe packages, AutoCAD and KeyShot. A common theme of my work is the use of ergonomics to enhance the user experience and solve problems that users may face in day-to-day life.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy making crafts and gifts using the software skills I have acquired, creatively pursuing photography and graphic design as well as indoor gardening.
